Also on Friday night your band is the fabulous Feed Back from Limerick making their debut in HQ for the first time ever. Expect to hear and see more of these new and exciting bands at HQ in the coming months.
Aidan Mac
On Sat 5th Setember - Your DJ for tonight is HQ’s very own Aidan Mac, as always keeping you up late and up to date with all that’s popular in the music charts.
Also on Saturday night we have the fabulous local band Bedlam.
On Sun 6th September – Your DJ for tonight is DJ – Shay, playing all your new dance chart R n B Club Classics and all time Party Favourites for your complete night’s enjoyment.
Futurism
The band for Sunday night is the ever popular Cashel based group Futurism.
Once again, on their first ever visit to HQ, these four rock musicians, Eddie Ryan, (Guitar and Vocals) Ray Ryan, ( Skins) Evan White ( Bass) & Darcy (Vocals) are no strangers to the music scene, having successfully played together full time, since 2006.
On Mon 7th September – Whether we win loose or draw on Sunday in Croke Park, there is going to be a mighty party. We must show our full support & celebrate the return of our Counties Hero’s, the Tipperary Senior Hurling Team 2009. It’s your chance to get up close & personal with these giants of hurling and with a bit of luck, get a close up of a certain piece of silverware, they might just have in their possession.
Whether or not, to celebrate their return home, who better to provide the celebratory Music, Swing & Crack, than Top Radio DJ Aiden Mac himself.

HQ Nightclub Is Open!
The HQ Nightclub in Thurles is now open! The HQ features six unique theme bars including The Red Room, The Black Room, Molly’s Bar, The Brew Bar, The Outback and the HQ Nightclub itself beating at its very core. Hey was looking on your website for a contact name and number for the person looking after your bands?
We are an indie rock band from Wexford, playing the likes of Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis etc. and more classic rock like Thin Lizzy, T Rex, The Clash and so on.
