HQ Nightclub

Fast receiving airtime across the radio waves in Ireland on the lead up to their new single ‘SEE SAW’, the infectious Irish pop outfit ‘JESTER’, (Regular visitors to HQ Nightclub Thurles Co. Tipperary) know how to create melodious, ambient and powerful pop tunes.

They entered onto the music scene on a rather high note in 2007, when debut single “Maria” charted in the IMRA Irish Top 40 .

Single No.2 also saw them climb the charts with “Scream” reaching  No.18 in the IRMA Irish Singles charts and also claimed the number one spot in the Downloads chart.

The release was marked by an extensive nation wide tour schedule which Included support dates with fellow Irish act The Blizzards.

Playing in some of Ireland’s most prestigious venues and clocking up some ground support along the way, Jester are a five piece band who “know how to take a song on the town and show it a good time” ( Hotpress)

On the live front Jester have shared the stage with some of Ireland’s top acts and luminaries, including The Blizzards and Jerry Fish and The Mudbug Club.

Festivals appearances include: Cois Farraige Festival and Oxegen (2007). They just recently played at The Sea Sessions Bundoran opening the Main Stage for The Fun Lovin Criminals and have a list of national dates still on their calendar over the Summer months.

Jester are currently recording their debut album and aim to complete a commercial but distinctive record.

The wait is over. The time is now. The new HQ Nightclub opens in Thurles tonight at 9:30PM, Friday July 3rd.

The HQ Nightclub is a network of clubs and bars that have come together under a single roof to give you the ultimate in entertainment and choice. There are no less than six unique theme bars within the HQ Nightclub… including The Red Room, The Black Room, Molly’s Bar, The Brew Bar, The Outback and the main HQ Nightclub itself.

Molly’s Bar

This is our Traditional Irish Pub bar and it’s a great place to start off the night!

Molly’s Bar features a comfortable and familiar environment to meet up with friends. Everything about Molly’s Bar has a tradional feel, the decor, the furniture and even those old style Guinness posters!

The Outback

The Outback is our awesome outdoor area.

The Red Room

The Red Room is a great spot to hang out. This bar features a cozy and warm red tone throughout.

The Black Room

The Black Room is the most secretive room. Little is known about this room. You will have to visit it yourself to find out more!

The Brew Bar

The Brew Bar is for those that enjoy a quieter pace and a good beer. It doesn’t get better than this!
