Yet Another Weekend Of Top Entertainment At HQ

This weekend promises, as always, to provide you with fabulous and really enjoyable entertainment and from the management and staff at HQ, A Happy Halloween to all.
On Fri 30th October – Your DJ once again is the ever popular Aidan Mac in full control of your party atmosphere with all that’s new & great in the realms of 21st century music.
Your band this Friday is the fabulous J-90 a Cork based band that will Rock you till you drop. One of Ireland’s only bands consisting of a DJ live on stage at all times. He will scratch and mix to perfection as Arron, belts out hits from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Feeder, Thin Lizzy, Red Hot Chilli Peppers ….etc and then they will amaze you with a performance of some of the best Hip Hop and Rap from Eminem.
There is no stopping these guys!!! J-90 are made up of Aaron – Vocals & Guitar, Ed – Lead Guitar, Kieran – Bass, Luke – Drums, Ger – DJ.
An excellent five piece band really making a name for themselves on the Irish circuit.
On Sat 31st October – Your DJ tonight is DJ Cosmic playing you into the midnight hours with his own very special blend of chart hits.
Your band this Saturday night is Loaded – (No I don’t mean that type of loaded). These four talented musicians who make up the band LOADED are young, but already they’ve had lots of experience gigging with other bands. Now they’ve come together at HQ to perform in this brilliant contemporary rock cover band – with a repertoire ranging from The Killers to U2, The Kaiser Chiefs to Greenday, and a lot more besides! All four lads who make up LOADED hail from County Offaly.
On Sun 1st October – Its a Karaoke and 80′s Disco bash. Fancy Dress will be the order of the night, which promises to be a real classic nights entertainment .
Bank Holiday Weekend Entertainment at HQ

We have a fabulous weekends entertainment coming to you from Tipperary’s No1 Nightclub this weekend.
On Thur 22nd October – Thursday night is Students Night at HQ with special price reductions on Long Necks & Shorts together with Spot prizes & the ever popular Lucky Dip.
In celebration of Halloween this is a fancy dress night, so don’t be surprised if you spot a few devils, not to mention a few witches or two on the dance floor.
On Fri 23rd October DJ Fitz will be on hand to spin you into the late hours with all that’s new and up to date in dance, pop and chart music.
Your band for tonight and making their first visit to HQ, is the popular Bedlam.
On Sat 24th October HQ’s own resident DJ will start the night and your band, back by popular demand, is Nookie. Nookie are a brand new Pop and Rock cover band, featuring ex-members from Bluemoose, Menace & J-90. This band are red hot on the scene at the moment!

On Sun 25th October it’s our old favourite DJ Aidan Mac together with all his latest music and entertainment news that will get you into full dancing mode.
Your band this Sunday night needs no introduction, yes it’s one of Ireland’s top electric rebel bands, it’s The Paddies. The Paddies are a five piece band that mix Irish Traditional music with Rock.
The band is made up of Brendan Ryder – Vocals/Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Johnny McCarthy - Vocals/Banjo/Guitar/Bass, Dave Hallissey - Alto & Tenor Saxophones/Button Accordion/Whistles/Harmonica/Vocals, Ray Bergen on Drums & Eamon O’Malley Bass/Piano/Keyboards. This is one night not to be missed folks!

We have great weekends entertainment coming at the HQ, this weekend. To get you into form for it, I have picked another cool video from Calvin Harris for you to check out!
On Friday 16th October the DJ in the main HQ Nightclub is DJ Brian Young. The band on Friday night is the popular band Coopers Corner.
On Saturday 17th October we have DJ Aidan Mac. Aiden Mac knows just how to get you dancing It’s going to be a good night!

The band on Saturday is The Domino Effect who are a rock covers band based in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland. Expect to hear songs from artists such as The Police, U2, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Bon Jovi and more. To find out more about The Domino Effect band you can visit their website here.
On Sunday 18th October we have DJ Aidan Mac. We have a Karoake night on in the HQ in place of our usual practice of having a band.

Four Fab Nights Planned At HQ This Weekend

On Thursday 8th October – Yes Sir, Thursday night is Students Night at HQ with special price reductions on Long Necks & Shorts together with Spot prizes & the ever popular Lucky Dip. In charge of controlling your party atmosphere is DJ Aidan Mac who will be on hand to lift those ‘college blues’ with all that’s new & great in the music realm.

Fitz
On Fri 9th October – Your DJ for tonight is DJ Fitz who will spin you into the late hours with all that’s new in dance, pop and chart music.

Domino Effect
Your band for Friday night is that ever popular rock covers band from Kilkenny and yes you’ve guessed it, who else but Domino Effect back in HQ again, by popular demand. Check out Domino Effect here!
The Domino Effect are masters of entertainment, producing an energetic and fun performance for your enjoyment. Expect to hear songs from artists such as The Police, U2, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Bon Jovi and lots, lots more!
On Sat 10th October – Your DJ for tonight is DJ Cozmic, playing you into the midnight hours with his own very special blend of chart hits.
The live band on Saturday night is the five piece Jester, winners of this years ‘Battle Of The Bands’ competition beating over 500 other entrants at the
Sea Sessions Festival.
Using catchy melodies & interesting arrangements from lead guitarist Tossy Maher accompanied by dark lyrics from front man Colin Demspey, Jester is described by Hotpress as “players of hard rock with confidence, style and a punky attitude who know how to take a song on the town & show it a good time”
Released in May 2007 Jester’s debut single “Maria” enjoyed success with a chart place and extensive airplay. Today FM’s Ian Demspey was the first DJ to spin the release. “Maria” also topped the DownloadMusic.ie chart for two weeks, a feat that was achieved a few months later again when “Scream” was digitally released.
Jester have been fortunate enough to have played an energetic 45 minute show at Oxegen 06, and have supported acts such as The Blizzards, Director, Paddy Casey, and Aslan.
